Poetry Prescribed Presents: The Storytelling RPG
At Poetry Prescribed, we have always believed in the power of poetry to heal, educate, and transform. Now, as part of the Spoken Futurism project, we are proud to be developing the Storytelling RPG (Role-Play Game Framework), a new creative system designed to spark imagination, support well-being, and expand education through play.
The RPG has already soft-launched: our Role Path Quiz and weekly creative mini-missions are live, with contributions flowing into a growing living archive. We are now in the development stage, building resources and educational tools that will extend this framework into schools, communities, and creative programmes.
The RPG will officially launch in October 2025 (2nd - 4th Oct, Bathway Theatre, Woolwich) as part of Spoken Futurism Live presents: The Genesis Path, Before the Map Was Made, a groundbreaking Afrofuturistic theatre production where poetry, music, visuals, and the RPG converge for the very first time.
🎮 How to Take Part
Take the Role Path Quiz → discover your archetype (Cartographer, Dreamsmith, Soundcaller, and more).
Complete a Creative Mission → respond in any way you choose: a poem, a sketch, a sound, a song, a film, or even a single word.
Submit Your Fragment → your contribution will become part of Fragments From The Multiverse, an exhibition running alongside the October show.
Every submission, no matter how small, is a fragment of the multiverse, and helps grow our living archive.
✨ Can’t make the October deadline? Don’t worry. Submissions will remain open on an ongoing basis for future exhibitions and for our forthcoming digital gallery, which is currently in development.

Poetry Prescribed led a 6-week Poetry Prescribed course for our DV survivor groups. Each week the words flew out; lines of anger, pain, injustice but also hope, sisterhood, empowerment and healing.
